Chandon Launches Ripples Partnership at VivaTech in Paris (+Red Ink Coming Soon!)
As the ‘world’s rendezvous for startups and leaders to celebrate innovation’, VivaTech in Paris was the perfect venue to introduce our recent and très exciting partnership with Chandon. And as the pictures below can attest, the event was received with huge fanfare. But what began as a successful unveiling at VivaTech’s main bar ‘The Chill Zone’, and the LVMH booth, is really just the beginning.
With scheduled deployment of 25 Ripple Makers to key Chandon bars and facilities across seven countries, including the USA, Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan, France and Australia, the sparkling wine producer for the Moët Hennessy Group is set to turn this collaboration into an opportunity to reinvent the cocktail consumer experience.
“Our partnership with Ripples represents a really exciting opportunity for Chandon to share sparkling moments with consumers around the world,” commented Morgane Pont-Bruyns, Chandon Trademarketing & Innovation Director.
“Leveraging new Chandon cocktails developed specifically for the Ripples campaign, we can not only showcase the quality of our wines, but by printing customized messages on to cocktail foam, we can now also interact with our consumers in a completely different way, live, and worldwide.”
With consumer experience in mind, Chandon has chosen to incorporate Ripples customer-facing Apps for increased brand control and greater engagement, including a custom Chandon Facebook Messenger Bot. The simple interface allows consumers to quickly and easily send images and selfies to the Ripple Maker and print them on their drinks within customized Chandon frames. Pont-Bruyns elaborated “Not only does this provide consumers with the ideal medium for sharing their Chandon experience via social media, but it also perfectly demonstrates the innovative nature of our business.”
For our part, Ripples chose to mark the occasion by introducing a new red ink to compliment Chandon’s unique branding. Developed from 100% natural carrot extract, the new ink will feature on several Chandon sparkling wine-based alcoholic drinks such as the ‘Chandon Colada’, ‘Chandon Strawberry’ and a ‘Lychee Cocktail’.
Red ink will be widely available to customers beginning in the fall of 2019.
