2024 Year in Review: Viral Moments

This year brands and businesses around the globe used Ripples to make their moments stand out. And fans (and the algorithm) took note.

Here are just a few of the top viral moments in 2024 created with Ripples prints.

1. Rudy Willingham Goes Viral with Espresso

Multimedia artist Rudy Willingham creates Sabrina Carpenter’s hit song of the summer with “100 cups of espresso”. He’s gotten 2.2 million tiktok views and counting for this brilliant stop-motion art.

2. Costa Coffee Creates Sweet Memories for Olympic Athletes

As the Official Worldwide Coffee Partner for the 2024 Olympic Games Costa Coffee used Ripples technology to brew up an unforgettable experience in the heart of the Olympic Village perfectly targeted to Gen Z athletes.

Every athlete shared their coffee creations, scoring the brand millions of social media impressions per video.

3. Honey Greens Cafe Goes Viral, Sells Out, and Closes Early Thanks to Sonny Angel Latte Success

Over Labor Day weekend, Honey Green Cafe served up six iconic Sonny Angels designs on top of “Cloud Foam” topped iced drinks, charging an extra $2 apiece to get the drink prints featuring these adorable little boys.

The impact was tremendous. 100s of thousands of views on social media, and most notably, their entire cafe got cleaned out and they had to close early to restock.

4. Arrvo Coffee Creates Drink Content that Builds Movie Hype

This fantastic LA-based coffee caterer has their hand in a huge number of high-profile events, and brands rely on them to create drink-topped content to spread the message and get attention.

In this case, it’s a perfect movie title and release date drink print, shared by the star, as part of the leadup for its release, getting more than 4 million views in just one day. Bad Boys for Latte! (absolutely not sorry)

5. Famous Faces at Dante Beverly Hills

Does the team at Dante have an influencer strategy? “No, we don’t. We have great guests, sometimes very famous guests, and we create special moments for them. They want to share their moments.”

This Instagram reel Toni Braxton shared with her 4.5 million followers is just the tip of the iceberg of their “non-strategy.”

We’re impressed but in no way surprised by the social media wins our customers have created for themselves with Ripples drink prints.
